Engram entered the NFL when the New York Giants selected him in the first round, 23rd overall, of the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent his first five NFL seasons with the Giants and then played for Jacksonville from 2022 through 2024. Denver signed him as a free agent on March 13, 2025, to a two-year contract. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Engram is a receiving-oriented tight end whose athleticism, speed and ability to work at multiple levels of the passing game have made him a versatile matchup option. At Ole Miss, he earned first-team All-America recognition in 2016, won the Ozzie Newsome Award as the nation’s top tight end and received the Conerly Trophy.
