Aaron Patrick Bio
Aaron Patrick is an American football defensive lineman for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. As of September 17, 2026, the Roughriders list Patrick on their roster at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds. He was born December 21, 1996, in Dayton, Ohio, and attended Eastern Kentucky University.
Patrick played college football at Eastern Kentucky from 2015 through 2019 and became one of the program’s notable pass rushers. He earned first-team All-Ohio Valley Conference recognition in 2016, 2018 and 2019, was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2019, and received Associated Press first-team FCS All-American honors that season.
After entering professional football as an undrafted free agent with Jacksonville in 2020, Patrick spent time on the Jaguars’ practice squad before joining the Denver Broncos’ active roster on September 23, 2021. He played for Denver during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, but a knee injury ended his 2022 campaign. The Broncos waived him on August 29, 2023. Patrick later signed with Saskatchewan in April 2025 and was part of the Roughriders’ 2025 Grey Cup championship team.
