Dominik Eberle is a German-born American football placekicker who reached the NFL after playing at Utah State. Born July 4, 1996, in Nuremberg, Germany, he moved to California at 14 and attended Redondo Union High School. Eberle played soccer before taking up football, then developed into a kicking specialist responsible for field goals, extra points and kickoffs.

Eberle attended Utah State from 2015 through 2019 and graduated with degrees in international business and marketing. His college honors included first-team All-Mountain West recognition in 2017 and 2019, three Academic All-Mountain West selections and a place among the 2017 Lou Groza Award finalists.
