Austin Seibert Bio
Austin Seibert is an American football placekicker who was born on November 15, 1996, in Belleville, Illinois. He attended Belleville West High School and played college football at the University of Oklahoma, where he handled kicking and punting duties. Oklahoma lists him at 5 feet 9 inches and identifies him as a kicker and punter.
At Oklahoma, Seibert was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year in 2018 and earned first-team All-Big 12 recognition. His college role reflected a broad special-teams skill set, combining placekicking, punting and kickoff responsibilities. He entered the NFL when the Cleveland Browns selected him in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 170th overall pick.
Seibert made his NFL debut with Cleveland and later played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Washington Commanders. The Commanders recognized him as their 2024 Week 2 special-teams player of the week after a notable early-season performance.
