AJ Parker Bio
AJ Parker, whose full name is Arlando Dwayne Parker Jr., is a former NFL cornerback from Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Born February 15, 1998, he stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and played college football at Kansas State. Parker redshirted as a true freshman before developing into a multi-year contributor in the Wildcats’ secondary. He earned honorable mention All-Big 12 recognition in 2019 and was known for an aggressive, opportunistic approach in pass coverage and run support.
Parker entered the NFL in 2021 as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions. He made his NFL debut against the San Francisco 49ers in September 2021 and later recorded his first professional interception against Cleveland. His Detroit tenure included appearances on both defense and special teams, with periods on the active roster, practice squad and injured reserve. In January 2023, he signed a reserve/future contract with San Francisco, but the 49ers released him in September 2023. Carolina signed him to its practice squad in November 2023, and the Panthers released him in May 2024. The Panthers’ current 2026 roster does not list Parker, so no current NFL team affiliation is stated here as of September 17, 2026.
