Amon-Ra St. Brown is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on August 9, 2000 in Anaheim, California to parents John and Miriam St. Brown, both former college athletes themselves. After excelling at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana where he was a two-time All-American selection and California’s Mr. Football award winner his senior season, Amon-Ra attended Stanford University as a highly touted five-star recruit in 2019.

At Stanford, St. Brown emerged as one of the best freshman receivers in school history, finishing with 61 catches for 818 yards and eight touchdowns while playing all 12 games during the season despite having previous shoulder surgery that had limited him going into it. His impressive showing earned him second team Pac 12 honors after being unanimously selected to Phil Steele’s All Pac 12 Freshman Team and receiving honorable mention from The Associated Press for its All Pacific First Team Defense squad that year too.
By 2020 there were several NFL teams interested in drafting St.Brown but it was the Los Angeles Rams who secured his services when they took him with their 77th overall pick (3rd round) at that year’s draft ceremony held remotely due to Covid pandemic restrictions; making Amon Ra only the fifth player ever drafted out of Stanford by them since 1948!
The 6 ft 1in 200lb pass catcher has quickly made himself indispensable to head coach Sean McVay’s offense: In 2021 he started 11 regular season games before missing three due toe injuries – recording 33 receptions for 384 yards while playing every offensive snap of those 11 appearances; including week 15 against Seattle where he scored his first professional touchdown on a 20 yard slant route from quarterback Jared Goff during their 23–16 victory over then division rivals Seahawks!
St brown showed blazing speed throughout training camp prior upcoming 2021 NFL campaign which likely means more production this coming year especially if combined with improved awareness once defenders get close by; something coaches have been working diligently on improving since joining Rams organization… However regardless what happens moving forward one thing is certain: Amon Ra came into league already well ahead most rookies thanks combination amazing athleticism & sheer determination; so don’t be surprised see big things this young man near future…
