The subsequent year brought more changes. Jones was re-signed by the Dolphins once again on April 19, 2022. This relationship, however, came to a temporary halt when he was waived on August 30, 2022. Thankfully, only a day later, he was claimed off waivers by the Detroit Lions, marking yet another phase of his career.
Fast forward to March 18, 2024, Jones found himself signing up again with the Miami Dolphins, thus returning to his original professional home.
