Dalvin Cook

Dalvin James Cook, born on August 10, 1995, is an American football running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). Known for his powerful running style, breakneck speed, and keen vision, Cook is one of the most electrifying players in the NFL today, continually showcasing his knack for making big plays on the gridiron.

Growing up in Miami, Florida, Cook was an avid football fan from his early days. He attended Miami Central High School where he shone as a football prodigy and was subsequently selected as Florida’s Mr. Football in 2013, an honor given to the state’s top high school player.

Following his successful high school tenure, Cook took his talents to Florida State University, where he rose to national prominence on the back of his sterling performances. His run continued in 2020, as he achieved career-highs with 1,557 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, again earning Pro Bowl honors.
