Antoine Duane Winfield Jr., born on August 16, 1998, is an American football safety currently playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League (NFL). His performance during his football career at the University of Minnesota for the Golden Gophers merited unanimous All-American honors, preparing him for an undeniable shot at the NFL.

Raised in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Winfield Jr. later moved to The Woodlands, Texas, where he studied at The Woodlands High School. A versatile student-athlete, he performed as a three-year letterer, a kick returner, and a two-year starting safety, sharing the field with future NFL players Ethan Bonner and Patrick Carr. His senior year alone saw him rack up 87 tackles, five forced fumbles, and one interception, and he was subsequently named the Montgomery County Player of the Year. Despite being a two-star recruit on Rivals.com, he earned offers from various universities such as Baylor, Eastern Michigan and others, ultimately accepting a scholarship from Minnesota.
