Ashley Yoder is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the UFC’s women’s strawweight division. Born January 11th, 1987 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ashley grew up with a passion for sports. She started training in Kung-Fu at age 8 and also dabbled in Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing throughout her life. After completing high school she went on to attend Anderson University where she was a collegiate volleyball player as well as an All-American track athlete competing in multiples events such as 100m dash, 400m hurdles, triple jump and long jump.

In between college semesters Ashley began to train under coach Pat Miletich at his gym—Miletich Fighting Systems—in Davenport Iowa for MMA competition. In 2011 she participated on the show “The Ultimate Fighter” but did not make it past the preliminary rounds due to injury from a previous match which prevented her from advancing. Shortly after this Ashley moved back home to Indiana where she continued her training under Lloyd Irvin Jr., eventually obtaining her amateur MMA record of 7 wins – 0 losses – 1 draw before turning pro in 2012 when she made her professional debut against Angela Magana which resulted in a unanimous decision victory over Ashlee Evans Smith at XFC 20: High Stakes.

After three years spent competing on regional circuits around North America (and earning six consecutive victories) Ashley signed with Invicta Fighting Championships where she won two bouts before joining the UFC roster during their 26th season of The Ultimate Fighter show along side Tatiana Suarez and Cynthia Calvillo among other notable female fighters. Her first fight under contract happened just months later when faced Justine Kish at UFC Fight Night 112 resulting in yet another win by decision marking 5 straight victories since joining Invicta FC . Since then Ashley has gone back n forth between victories and defeats amassing 3x wins 2x losses since entering into the promotion though arguably one or two could have gone either way if judged differently from what we saw happening live inside of octagon that night .

That being said , despite few setbacks , there is no doubting thaty Ashleys prowess n talent remain undeniable n now stands currently as one of top ranked contenders inside 115 lb weight class whom many consider serious title contender within near future should continue stringing some impressive performances together over coming months…
