Quindarious “Smoke” Monday, born on the 19th of February in the year 2000, is a prominent figure in the world of American professional football. Despite his standing as a free agent, Monday’s skills and abilities have left an indelible mark in the football industry.

Embarking on his football journey in Atlanta, Georgia, at Carver High School, Monday showed early promise in the sport. By the time he was ready for his high school graduation, he had earned the rank of a four-star recruit and positioned himself as the sixth best athlete in the class of 2018. Recognizing his potential, several Power 5 schools offered Monday lucrative scholarships. However, Monday decided that Auburn University was the best fit for his college football career.

Monday’s tenure at Auburn showcased his growing prowess on the football field. In his freshman year, he made a significant impact with 13 tackles, two sacks, and an interception to his name. Indeed, Monday’s talents were soon recognized as he earned his first career start against Ole Miss. This game proved particularly memorable, with Monday narrowly escaping a potential ejection for targeting.

His sophomore season witnessed further enhancement of his skills and abilities. Monday ended the season with 20 tackles, a sack, and an interception return for a touchdown in the 2019 Iron Bowl. Not satisfied with resting on his laurels, Monday played in all of Auburn’s 11 games in 2020. His contributions included 64 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and two interceptions. Of these, a 100-yard interception made during a thrilling 30-17 victory over Tennessee stood out as particularly exciting. At the conclusion of the season, Monday earned a place on the Second-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC), a testament to his continued on-field success.

Monday’s senior season witnessed him achieve a record, with his interception tying for the most in Auburn history. His contributions for the season didn’t stop there, as Monday also totaled 58 tackles and two sacks. As the regular season concluded, Monday declared his aim to enter the 2022 NFL draft after the last Tiger’s bowl match.

Moving onto the professional stage, Monday began his NFL career signing as an undrafted free agent with the New Orleans Saints on April 30, 2022. Unfortunately, in August of the same year, Monday suffered a severe setback in the form of a torn ACL during practice, which prematurely terminated his season. Due to this, he was placed on injured reserve on August 5. A year later, on August 28, 2023, Monday was released by the New Orleans Saints.

Despite a setback in the NFL, Monday’s football journey continued. On January 30, 2024, he signed a contract with the Montreal Alouettes, a team in the Canadian Football League. Even though his time with the Alouettes was short-lived, with his release on June 2, 2024, Monday’s football journey is a testament to his talent, determination, and dedication to the sport.
