Clyde Edwards-Helaire is an NFL running back who currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was born on April 11th, 1998 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended Catholic High School before enrolling at Louisiana State University. At LSU he won a National Championship in 2019 and was named to the All-SEC first team that same year.

Edwards-Helaire declared for the 2020 NFL Draft after his junior year of college where he was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with their first round pick (32nd overall). In his rookie season Clyde rushed for over 1,100 yards to go along with 5 touchdowns and finished third among all rookies in rushing yardage behind only Jonathan Taylor and Antonio Gibson. His performance earned him a selection to the 2021 Pro Bowl as well as recognition from both fans and media alike.

Off the field Edwards-Helaire is known just as much for his charity work as he is for being a great football player. He has supported multiple causes such as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Stomp Out Bullying, Feeding America, Coaches vs Cancer Foundation and Schools Not Prisons amongst many others. His commitment to giving back has been recognized by various organizations including ESPN’s Community Contribution Award which he was presented with during Super Bowl LV Weekend.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire had become one of the most promising young talents in football today due to his combination of skill set on offense & dedication off it . With another great season ahead of him there’s no telling what heights this rising star will reach but one thing is sure – Clyde will be making an impact both on & off the field whenever he steps onto it!
