Spencer Michael Rattler, born on September 28, 2000, is forging his name into the annals of professional football as an eminent quarterback for the high-profile New Orleans Saints, an illustrious team within the National Football League (NFL). Spencer had honed his skills within the ardently competitive theatre of college football, bringing acclaim to the Oklahoma Sooners and the South Carolina Gamecocks before his prowess won him a coveted position in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft.

Spencer’s journey into football began at Pinnacle High School, Phoenix, Arizona, where he would spend all his four high school years. While the 2019 season saw him only in three games, allowing him to redshirt his freshman year, he came back with a vengeance, winning the starting quarterback job over his competitor, Tanner Mordecai.

However, Spencer’s career with Oklahoma was far from smooth, facing a series of defeats, injuries, and eventually being benched. Recognizing the need for a change, he moved on to the University of South Carolina in 2021 to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks under coach Shane Beamer, the start of a new leg in his football journey.
