Born on July 13, 1998, Lecitus Smith is an exemplary American professional football player. His personal journey and professional trajectory in sports, particularly as a center for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL), are captivating. Smith’s football prowess was further nurtured and tested in the collegiate football arena where he represented Virginia Tech, embedding his indelible mark in the institution’s sports history.

His first brush with college football was in 2017 at Virginia Tech. He redshirted his freshman year, a standard practice providing college athletes an extra year of athletic eligibility. This decision appropriately positioned him to exhibit his football acumen in the following years, allowing him to hone his skills before the actual game participation.

Following his release, Smith shortly thereafter joined the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad on November 14, 2023. His tenacity, hard work, and commitment convinced the Eagles to offer him a reserve/future contract on January 18, 2024. Smith suffered another professional hiccup when he was waived on April 30, 2024.
