BIOGRAPHY
Unfortunately, there is insufficient public data available to write a 2500 word biography on the NFL athlete Josh Thomas. Below is a summary of his professional career information that is currently available.
Josh Thomas is a former football cornerback who has had a professional career in the National Football League (NFL). Born on May 3, 1989, in Cedar Hill, Texas, Josh Thomas attended Cedar Hill High School before going to the University of Buffalo to continue his football career in college under the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision.
During his college career from 2007 to 2010, Thomas played 42 games as a Buffalo Bull, finishing his senior year with a total of 205 tackles, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. His hard work, passion and talent were recognized, as he was selected to participate in the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine, a week-long showcase where college football players perform physical and mental tests in front of National Football League coaches, general managers, and scouts.
Following successful participation in the Combine, Josh Thomas was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 5th round (143rd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. However, his tenure with the Dallas Cowboys only lasted until September of the same year. Shortly after, he was signed by the Carolina Panthers where he spent most of his career. With the Panthers, he appeared in 38 games, starting 10 times and recording a total of 53 tackles as well as forcing a fumble and recovering another.
Thomas had a brief stint with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014, and following that, he played for Detroit lions in 2014-2015, New York Jets in 2015, Dallas Cowboys in 2015, and the Indianapolis Colts in 2015-2016. Despite moving around various teams during his professional career, Josh Thomas displayed an admirable level of resilience and persistence, delivering strong performances in his corner-back position. He finished his career in Indianapolis Colts and announced retirement after that.
Throughout his career and beyond, Josh Thomas has lived up to sportsmanship both on and off the field. He has used his platform as a professional athlete to help influence positive change in his community.
