Born on December 14, 1994, Desmond King II has risen to prominence in the National Football League (NFL) for his exceptional skill and determination. During his career, King has built a reputation for being a reliable and talented defensive back, who has excelled in various roles throughout his stint in the NFL.

Desmond King II was raised in Detroit, Michigan, where he nurtured an early interest in football. His path to football excellence began at East English Village Preparatory Academy, where he played on both the offensive and defensive teams. Not only did he earn All-State honors twice, but he also helped lead his high school to the city championship in his senior year.

After high school, King moved to Iowa to play college football for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes for four years. During his career as a Hawkeye, King developed into an elite player, earning All-Big Ten honors in three of his four seasons and was named the Jim Thorpe Award winner as the nation’s best defensive back following his junior season in 2015.
