Damien Harris

Born on February 11, 1997, Damien Harris is a former professional football player who played as a running back in American Football’s most prestigious league – the National Football League (NFL). He is best known as an essential contributor on the field for the New England Patriots and later the Buffalo Bills.

Hailing from Berea, Kentucky, Harris’s athletic talent began to shine during his time at Madison Southern High School. He made a name for himself in high school football, rushing for a staggering 6,748 yards with 122 touchdowns. Harris’s exceptional abilities on the football field were recognized by Rivals.com, a prominent recruiting network, which rated him as a five-star recruit. In the ranking of high school footballers, Harris was placed as the top running back and, impressively, the eighth best out of all players in his class.

Throughout his tenure with the Patriots, Harris earned several career highs. In his 2021 season, despite some injury-related setbacks, he accomplished a career-high sprint of 929 rushing yards in a single season. However, his 2022 season was less successful due to injury issues, contributing 462 rushing yards overall.

In March 2023, Harris introduced a new chapter in his career by signing a one-year, $1.7 million contract with the Buffalo Bills. Although his time with the Bills was short-lived due to a severe neck injury, he celebrates scoring his first touchdown as a Bill against the Las Vegas Raiders.
