Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry is an American professional basketball player who has been playing in the NBA since 2009. He currently plays for the Golden State Warriors as point guard and is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters in league history.

A native of Akron, Ohio, Curry was a standout high school basketball player before attending college at Davidson College in North Carolina. During his three seasons with the Wildcats, he quickly became recognized as one of college basketball’s most prolific players and earned himself a consensus All-American honors during his junior year season.

In 2009, Curry declared for the NBA draft and was selected 7th overall by the Golden State Warriors. Since then, he has become one of their most heralded players ever to wear their jerseys and helped lead them to five straight finals appearances from 2015-2019 – winning three championships (2015-17). In addition to that feat, he also went on to set several individual records including becoming the only unanimous MVP selection in 2016 when he led all scorers with 30 points per game while shooting 50% from beyond 3-point range – which included breaking his own single season record for made 3 pointers with 402 that same year.

Throughout his career so far Stephen has earned 11 All Star selections (5x starter) 8 All NBA nominations (3x First Team), 2 time scoring champion (2016 & 2020), 4 times leader in free throw percentage and 6 times leader in threes made amongst others for which earned him two Most Valuable Player awards back to back between 2015–16 seasons respectively cementing him firmly amongst some of this generation’s elite players.

Off court Stephen leads an active lifestyle being involved with many charities such as ‘Eat Learn Play Foundation’ focused on providing nutrition education programs within underserved communities alongside wife Ayesha whom they have 3 children together Riley , Ryan And Canon . Finally since 2019 co owner & investor into PGA Tour golf team called ‘The Artists’ alongside PMG Sports & Bill Simmons which will look provide opportunities athletes outside traditional sports pathways
