Wiggins was raised by his mother and both of his parents were professional athletes from Jamaica. His father, Mitchell Wiggins played for six teams during his ten-year NBA career while his mother Marita Payne-Wiggins represented Canada at the 1984 Olympics as part of its track & field team.
