Malik Beasley is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on November 26, 1996 in Alpharetta, Georgia. Beasley played college basketball at Florida State University and was one of the top prospects during his freshman year.

He declared for the NBA Draft after completing his freshman season and was selected 19th overall by Denver Nuggets in 2016. His best season with Denver came during the 2018-19 campaign where he averaged 11 points per game while shooting 42% from three point range.

Beasley’s time with Denver ended abruptly when he was traded to Minnesota Timberwolves at midseason in 2019-20 season as part of a four-team blockbuster trade that also included Robert Covington going to Houston Rockets. Since joining Minnesota, Malik has been playing some of the best ball of his career while leading one of youngest teams in NBA history with Karl Anthony Towns being injured most part of this season.
