BIOGRAPHY

Uros Medic is a professional mixed martial artist who has been competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since 2017. He is currently signed to the lightweight division of the organization and has had great success, amassing an impressive 12-2 record over that time.

Born in June of 1992 in Serbia, Uros began his combat sports career when he was just 15 years old. He competed as a Greco-Roman wrestler at local competitions with much success before transitioning into MMA at the age of 20. In 2011, Uros made his amateur debut and quickly racked up 10 wins through submission or knockout over the course of two years before turning pro in 2013.

Once turning pro, Uros went on an absolute tear both domestically and internationally; winning eight fights by either TKO or submission over four years for some of Europe’s leading promotions such as FFC and GCF. After building up an impressive 13-1 record, he finally got his call from UFC after being scouted by Joe Silva himself – then President of UFC Talent Relations – while competing in Montenegro back in 2016.

Since signing with UFC, Uros has gone undefeated throughout three successive bouts against top competition such as Mike Perry and Antonio Carlos Junior to name a few. His ground game is particularly impressive having won seven out of twelve matches via submission technique during this period alone; earning him numerous Submission Fight Of The Night awards along with Fight Of The Night accolades following his victory over Perry despite almost getting caught off guard late into round 3 where he managed to hold onto position long enough for referee intervention resulting in a win via technical decision due to strikes landed on bottom position .

Outside of fighting professionally inside the Octagon™ , Uros also coaches underprivileged kids from within his community within Serbia helping them develop their skillset both mentally & physically providing them lessons learnt throughout his own fight journey thus far inspiring & motivating them above all else .
