Muslim Salikhov is a Russian martial artist and professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight division. He was born on August 21, 1988 in Derbent, Dagestan and began his MMA career back in 2010.

In 2016, he signed with the World Series of Fighting (WSOF). He won both his fights for WSOF by TKO before moving to the Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB). While fighting for ACB, Muslim had a 7 fight win streak, winning all of those bouts via KO or submission. His most notable performance during this time period was against UFC veteran Thiago Silva; Muslim finished him by knockout in just 20 seconds. This performance earned him much respect from UFC President Dana White who decided to sign him later that year.

At UFC Fight Night 126 on February 18th 2018 he made his promotional debut facing off against Darren Stewart which ended in a draw due to an illegal strike thrown by Muslim resulting in a point deducted from his score. In September 2018 he fought Alex Garcia at UFC Fight Night 136: Hunt vs Oliynyk where he won by unanimous decision after dominating the entire 15 minutes of action with ground strikes and crisp offense throughout the 3 rounds of combat giving him three victories under his belt inside the octagon so far..

Overall Salikhov has compiled an impressive record spanning 13 wins out of 14 total fights holding 10 Knockout victories as well as 4 submissions showing that his overall skill-set is well rounded when it comes down to standup and grappling alike proving himself as one dangerous competitor inside of cage no matter how long does fight lasts since almost every single bout ended up with decisive finish and none ever went past 2nd round so far making 28 years old Dagestani fighter one deadly threat for any opponent standing across from him inside Octagon . As things stand now ,he’s been scheduled to face Laureano Staropoli at upcoming “UFC Fight Night 166” event which will take place this December 21st 2019 .
