BIOGRAPHY

Sergey Morozov is a professional mixed martial artist who fights in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He began his career competing in Russia, where he won two national championships and finished as runner-up for two other titles. Having made his UFC debut in 2018, he has since gone on to amass a record of 10–4–1 across fourteen bouts.

Morozov was born on February 26th 1991 in Volgograd, Russia. Growing up with an interest in combat sports from a young age, by the time he reached 18 years old Morozov had already established himself as one of the top amateur fighters within his native country. By 2012, he had competed at numerous regional tournaments and been awarded multiple championship titles over both Muay Thai and Shoot Boxing disciplines; additionally earning runner-up positions at both 2011’s All-Russia Kettlebell Cup and 2013’s Russian Open MMA Tournament.

In 2014 Morozov chose to turn professional and fight under international rulesets – joining Fight Nights Global (FNG) – after having accumulated an impressive Amateur record of 73 wins to only three losses across all combative disciplines including boxing matches as well as MMA bouts. His first year fighting professionally saw him capture FNG’s Featherweight title when defeating fellow Russian fighter Evgeniy Erokhin via unanimous decision; similarly taking home the promotion’s Lightweight belt upon beating Magomed Ginazov four months later during FNG 50’s main event; thus becoming dual champion whilst still riding momentum from an undefeated streak that dated back to 2011 during his Amateur career days . As such, it didn’t take long for higher profile promotions such as Bellator MMA & ACA to come knocking – offering Sergey contract opportunities that would eventually see him face off against some renowned names including former WEC Champion Urijah Faber & current Bellator Welterweight Champion Jon Fitch.

By early 2018 Morozov had become somewhat synonymous with competition within Europe’s Combat Sports scene – however following five successful years on European soil it was now time for The Ravenous Wolf to test himself at the highest tier possible: The UFC Octagon! Making his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 127 versus Arnold Allen , YouTube Sensation turned Elite Fighter “The Bulldog” successfully made weight then proceeded to win via Unanimous Decision after three full rounds inside London’s O2 Arena. Since this momentous occasion Serhii has gone onto face further high profile opponents such Ryan Hall , Charles Rosa & Hakeem Dawodu ; ultimately achieving victories over all three before being forced into hiatus due COVID 19 health concerns throughout 2020/2021 leading up until present day .

Having recently returned from a nine month layoff due said health issues surrounding Coronavirus – Sergey is now ready for action! Ferocious yet technically gifted beyond belief “The Ravenous Wolf” will look forward next challenge once restrictions permit so fans around world can be sure there are plenty more exciting showdowns still yet come!
