Rafa “Gifted”Garcia

Rafa Garcia is a Brazilian mixed martial artist currently competing in the Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Garcia began his professional MMA career in 2013 and has since established himself as one of the top contenders in the promotion’s featherweight division.

Garcia was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He developed an interest in martial arts at a young age and showed great potential early on. After joining his local gym, he quickly rose through the ranks and became one of their most promising fighters. In 2013, after winning multiple regional titles, he decided to turn professional and transition into MMA full time.

Since making his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 133: Dos Santos vs Tuivasa, Garcia has enjoyed an impressive run inside the octagon making him one of the top-ranked featherweights on its roster today. He holds notable wins over Yair Rodriguez, Arnold Allen, Te Edwards among others — all victories that earned him performance bonuses from UFC officials for their outstanding performances inside the cage. His last victory came against Ricardo Ramos which resulted in a submission due to strikes win for Rafa at 4:19 mark of round 1 during UFC Fight Night 177

In addition to being an accomplished athlete inside The Octagon™ Rafa is also well rounded outside it too as he has several other interests away from fighting like music composition & playing guitar where he even composed original pieces for some videos about himself released by The UFC ahead of some his fights.. Alongside this practice Rafael also loves to cook specifically Brazilian cuisine dishes such as Feijoada & Vatapa which have become favorites amongst those closest to him!

Outside of training & cooking you’ll find Rafa relaxing with friends or taking part nature activities such kayaking or hiking while documenting them via social media platforms such Instagram giving fans further insight into who really is when not training hard ready compete each fight night!
