BIOGRAPHY

Ode Osbourne is a professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He began his amateur career in 2013, fighting primarily in smaller promotions before making his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Arlovski in April 2016. Since then, he has gone on to compete regularly on the biggest stage of MMA and has amassed an impressive record of 15 wins and only five losses across 19 pro bouts.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on August 18th 1987, Osbourne had a passion for combat from an early age. His childhood was spent training karate with his father—a sensei—and later took up boxing at high school alongside his brother and mother who were also actively involved in martial arts. As he grew older Osbourne developed an interest for kickboxing; soon after joining a gym specializing in the sport he won two regional tournaments and became determined to pursue it as more than just a hobby. After high school graduation it was clear that fighting would be Osbourne’s future—he went on to train full-time under renowned coaches like Rafael Cordeiro (who later became famous for guiding fighters such as Lyoto Machida) and Anthony Johnson (the former light heavyweight champion).

Before entering into competition with the UFC, Osbourne competed extensively elsewhere; highlighted by victories over notable names like Paul Felder throughout his career thus far. With over 10 years experience inside the cage or ring now under his belt, Ode has become well known for both technical striking ability & aggressive grappling technique employed during fights; something which has earned him countless fans amongst MMA enthusiasts around the world due to skilled execution not usually seen from fighters at this level of competition .
