BIOGRAPHY

Nikita Krylov, better known as “The Miner”, is a Russian mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born on August 15, 1992, in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

At an early age, Nikita began training in various martial arts disciplines such as judo, sambo and Muay Thai. He eventually made his professional MMA debut at only 17 years old and quickly developed into one of the most exciting young fighters to watch. He has since become one of the most successful fighters from Russia to ever compete in the UFC and currently holds a record of 25-5-1.

In 2013, Nikita signed with the UFC and quickly gained recognition for his aggressive style of fighting that often ends with spectacular finishes. His first notable win came against former title challenger Ovince St Preux which made him the first fighter from Russia to earn Performance of the Night honors from the UFC. Since then he has gone on to defeat some of the biggest names in MMA such as Glover Teixeira and Fabricio Werdum.

Nikita’s successful career inside the octagon earned him great respect among fans worldwide who appreciate his hard work and dedication towards achieving excellence. His affinity for finishing fights also earned him multiple post fight bonuses including ‘Fight of The Night’ honors twice; once against Ed Herman and another against Misha Cirkunov.

Aside from being a world class athlete, Nikita is also an accomplished musician. He has released several songs over the years under his own record label that have been featured on sites such as iTunes, Spotify and SoundCloud.
