Maurice Greene is a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He fights as a heavyweight and has competed in some of the most prestigious MMA tournaments around. The 33-year-old American was born on November 5th 1985, in Chicago.

At an early age Greene became involved with martial arts by watching martial arts films. This inspired him to find a local gym where he could make use of his newfound interest and begin training. After much practice and dedication he gained enough knowledge to compete in amateur competitions across Chicago’s south side; eventually earning him entry into the UFC Heavyweight division at just 22 years old.
