Jamall Emmers is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the featherweight and lightweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 9th, 1989.
Emmers began his fighting career at the age of 18 when he joined Team Karate College in California. During this time, he trained under Sensei Tony Fattore and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience which enabled him to start competing professionally in 2011. Since then, he has competed for various promotions such as King Of The Cage, Tachi Palace Fights and CES MMA where he has amassed a record of 18-5-0.
In 2018 Jamall made his UFC debut against Alex Caceres at UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs Edwards where he won via unanimous decision. Since then Emmers has gone 3-2 inside the octagon with notable wins over Julian Erosa and Spike Carlyle; both fights earned him “Fight Of The Night” honors from the promotion. He is currently scheduled to face Chas Skelly on June 19th at UFC Fight Night: Font vs Garbrandt 2 for another attempt to break into upper echelon contendership status .
Outside of competition Jamall enjoys spending time with family & friends along with participating as an active member within his local community by volunteering at homeless shelters or helping out wherever else needed. His biggest motivation comes from having lost both parents prior to entering adulthood – something that keeps him focused on what truly matters most – staying true to himself while making them proud every step of the way!
