Diana Belbita is a professional mixed martial arts fighter currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s flyweight division. She made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 166 on December 21, 2019 and has since gone undefeated in three fights in the Octagon. Belbita hails from Romania, where she began her MMA career training with One Punch Gym before signing with Invicta FC in 2018. She quickly rose to prominence as an Invicta strawweight, going 7-1 during her two years under the banner of promotion.

Belbita’s success earned her an invitation to join the cast of season 26 of The Ultimate Fighter, which ultimately led to her signing with UFC after winning two bouts during filming for the show. In January 2020 she defeated Wu Yanan by unanimous decision and followed that up by submitting Taila Santos at UFC 252 later that year. Most recently, Diana made a successful flyweight debut against Ariane Lipski at UFC 255 on November 21st 2020; a fight that was largely considered one of the best performances of Diana’s young career as she won via TKO in round 1.

Apart from being a fierce competitor inside the cage, Diana is also passionate about giving back outside it; operating ‘The Dragon Project’ which provides food aid and support services to families living below poverty line throughout Romania. Her press appearances often stress this point – advocating for more involvement into projects like hers – granting those less fortunate better access to resources and opportunities alike; setting an example for other athletes looking to make a positive change within their communities .

Not only did she manage to go undefeated through 9 fights prior joining The Ultimate Fighter , but also now holds notable wins over both tailasus Santos and former KSW champion Ariane Lipski ; gaining recognition as one among few women who have competed across 3 different weight classes within short amount time . All these feats combined have certainly put Diana Belbita firmly on people’s radar when it comes down discussing potential future contenders amongst stacked 125 lbs division inside world most prestigious organization – making it obvious why fans are eagerly awaiting what else this athletic young Romanian can bring us next time out !
