Casey O’Neill is an up-and-coming MMA fighter based out of Los Angeles, California. He has been fighting in the UFC since 2020 and has quickly made a name for himself as one of the toughest and most talented fighters in the promotion.
O’Neill was born in Seattle, Washington in 1994 and grew up playing football. He was never really a fan of traditional sports, but he found his true love when he discovered Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). When he was 18 years old, O’Neill moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an MMA fighter. After joining several local gyms and training with some experienced coaches, Casey decided it was time to make his move into professional competition.
In 2020, O’Neill won four straight fights on the regional circuit before being signed by the UFC later that year. His debut fight came against Kalin Harris at UFC Fight Night 189 where Casey put on a dominant performance that resulted in a TKO victory with just :22 left in round two. That win earned him “Performance of The Night” honors and helped launch his career into stardom within the organization.
Since then, O’Neill has gone 3-1 as part of the UFC roster and is currently ranked #11 lightweight contender according to Sherdog rankings — putting him on track for a title shot sometime soon if he can continue winning fights at this rate. Outside of competing professionally for MMA promotion’s like Bellator or PFL; Casey also teaches kickboxing classes at various health clubs around Los Angeles which helps him stay active when not training for upcoming fights or managing sponsorships from well known apparel companies like Nike & Adidas .
