BIOGRAPHY

Brian Kelleher is an American mixed martial artist who currently fights in the bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As a professional fighter since 2010, Kelleher has fought for many major promotions including Bellator MMA and Cage Fury Fighting Championships.

Kelleher was born on December 31st, 1985 in Seaford, New York. He grew up on Long Island and graduated from Seaford High School. After high school, he attended college at Nassau Community College where he earned an associate degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching.

In 2010, Kelleher made his amateur debut as a mixed martial arts fighter competing for the CFFC promotion under the name “Boom”. In 2013, he turned pro and signed with Bellator after going 8-3 as an amateur. During his time with Bellator, Kelleher was able to amass a 6-2 record while competing against some of the best bantamweights in the world at that time like Joe Warren and Anthony Leone.

After leaving Bellator due to contractual issues in 2016, Kelleher joined Cage Fury Fighting Championships where he went undefeated with 5 wins before signing with UFC later that same year. His UFC debut came against Iron Man MMA veteran Iuri Alcantara at UFC 212 which ended up being declared fight of night honors by president Dana White himself! From there Brian went on to rack up impressive victories over fighters such as Damian Stasiak & Renan Barao; earning him three performance bonuses throughout his career with UFC so far!

Since joining UFC in 2016 , Brian has gone 7-4 inside octagon defeating notable opponents like Ode Osbourne , Hunter Azure & Kevin Natividad . On March 11 2021 , Brian knocked out Ray Rodriguez via punches just 1 minute 15 seconds into Round one making it fastest win of his career !

Outside of fighting , Brian is also passionate about coaching others aspiring to be Mixed Martial Artist .He runs Boom Fitness gym located near Farmingdale NY , which offers various programs focusing combat sports training for beginners & pros alike . It also includes yoga classes for special events booking or private parties etc .

Overall , Brian Kelther has had quite successful MMA journey so far ; establishing himself among top ranked Bantamweights worldwide despite struggling through injuries during past few years .
