Taila Santos

Taila Santos is a professional MMA fighter who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She was born on September 18, 1991 in Brazil. Growing up, Taila showed a natural affinity for athletics and martial arts, eventually deciding to pursue a career as an MMA fighter.

Taila’s career began back home in Brazil, where she trained at Top Fight Combat Academy located in her hometown of Rio de Janeiro. She made her amateur debut at Clash Combat 3: Show Girls Edition when she fought against Thais Saad and won via unanimous decision. It wasn’t long before Taila had racked up seven wins out of eight fights with four knockouts and two submissions under her belt – establishing herself as one of the most promising female fighters coming out of Brazil.

In 2018 Taila signed with Invicta FC for three fights but after winning all three bouts via stoppage finishes her contract expired and it wasn’t long until UFC came calling offering her a fighting contract which she quickly accepted without hesitation! On July 27th 2019 Taila made her octagon debut facing off against Mara Romero Borella at UFC 240 event where she emerged victorious by submission due to a rear naked choke early in the second round , this win earned Taila ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus award from UFC officials becoming only second female Brazilian athlete to be awarded such accolade since Cris Cyborg’s dominant run during featherweight division .

Following that success Tale continued making waves inside Octagon performing extremely well across all six fights so far managing impressive record 5-1-0 with five knockouts from those victories . Most recently at UFC Fight night 170 event held in Brasilia on March 14th 2020 , Tale faced off against Molly McCann capturing Performance Of The Night honours once again due to an impressive knockout victory less than 2 minutes into first round .

Currently training under Renan Mondini Team alongside fellow world class athletes , Tails hopes to climb further up rankings list towards getting title shot opportunity within upcoming months ahead !
