Matt “The Immortal”Brown

Matt “The Immortal” Brown is an American mixed martial artist and former professional fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He first rose to prominence after competing on Season 7 of The Ultimate Fighter, a reality show featuring MMA fighters. After his appearance on the show, he has gone on to become one of the most accomplished middleweight fighters in UFC history.

Brown was born on January 11th 1982 in Jamestown, Ohio. As a child he got involved with online gaming and quickly developed an interest for combat sports, particularly boxing and kickboxing. He began training at 16 years old before entering his first amateur Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight at 19. After two years of fighting as an amateur Brown made his professional debut in 2006 for Ring of Fire promotions where he won by submission within just 45 seconds against Domingo Pilarte.

In 2007 Brown took part in the seventh season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show after being chosen as part of Team Rampage which was coached by UFC Light heavy Weight Champion Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin respectively.
