Makhmud Muradov

Makhmud Muradov is a professional mixed martial artist currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He competes in the Middleweight division.

Muradov was born and raised in Kokand, Uzbekistan on October 16th, 1988. He began training in Muay Thai at the age of 15 and went on to pursue a career as a professional fighter after graduating from high school. In 2008 he moved to Moscow, Russia where he continued his training with renowned fight coaches such as Sergei Kharitonov and Fedor Emelianenko.

In 2013, Muradov made his debut in Russian promotion Fight Nights Global where he had seven successful fights before signing with UFC in 2019. Since then, he has had two impressive fights for UFC: a TKO win over Trevor Smith and another victory against Alessio Di Chirico via split decision. His record stands at 22-6-0 (win-loss-draw) and many consider him one of the top middleweights fighters today.

Outside of fighting, Muradov also enjoys spending time outdoors playing sports such as football or basketball as well as swimming in rivers or lakes near his home city of Kokand when not training for upcoming fights or events within the MMA world .He also has an interest in music production which is something that drives him during hard times while away from home competing around the world.. Additionally, since December 2017 Makhmud has been serving as Vice President of Sport Development Department at OJSC “Uzpromstroybank” located back home in Uzbekistan which gives him great joy being able to give back to his community through sport development initiatives there too..

Although still relatively young career wise within UFC ,Muradove strives each day to become better both mentally and physically so that he may eventually reach championship level status; never forgetting that without discipline nothing can be gained… As part of this commitment Makhmud regularly practices meditation techniques while keeping up with current news related topics such as political stances on certain affiars – all this combined allows him stay focused on achieving greatness both inside & outside “the octagon”
