Alessio Di Chirico is an Italian mixed martial artist who currently competes for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He’s known for his aggressive style of fighting, which has gained him a great deal of success inside the octagon.
Di Chirico was born in Rome, Italy in 1992 and began training in various disciplines such as Karate and Kickboxing when he was just 10 years old. After becoming more serious about martial arts, Di Chirico took up Muay Thai at age 15 and earned his black belt by 18. He went on to compete successfully in local amateur tournaments before transitioning into professional MMA competition at the age of 22.
Since then, Alessio Di Chirico has become one of the most successful athletes on the UFC roster today, having racked up a record 8 wins and only 2 losses since joining them back in 2015. His career saw him take out some big names including Bojan Velickovic (Bigger’s Better 19), Oskar Piechota (GMC 1) and Garreth McLellan (UFC Fight Night 88).
He also holds important victories over Darren Stewart (UFC Fight Night 107), Eric Spicely (UFC 220) and Oskar Piechota (UFC 231). Additionally, he’s fought competitively against top opponents such as Antonio Carlos Junior, Krzysztof Jotko and Karl Roberson – though those fights all ended with no result or decision being made due to either an injury or disqualification respectively.
In terms of fight-style, Alessio Di Chirico is known for his relentless aggression coupled with technical proficiency; often pressuring opponents with hard strikes while striking intelligently enough to avoid taking too much damage himself – making him dangerous both standing up or on the ground alike. Outside of MMA competition he’s also been active doing seminars around Italy as well as broadcasting live Q&As through Instagram to help inspire young fighters looking to get into combat sports professionally themselves one day .
Overall it hasn’t been an easy journey for Di Chirico but it has certainly been eventful; from starting out competing at local shows throughout Europe to eventually earning himself a place amongst some of the best fighters in world – there are still many more heights that Alessio could achieve if he continues working hard towards his goals!
