BIOGRAPHY

Cory McKenna is a 24-year-old professional mixed martial artist and former amateur MMA champion, currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) strawweight division. Born and raised in Bristol, England, Cory began her martial arts career at the age of 16. After two years of training she won her first British Amateur MMA title as a teen. She then transitioned to professional fighting after winning several amateur titles over the next few years, making her debut in 2018 against Alexandra Toncheva at Cage Warriors 100.

Cory quickly rose to prominence after joining UFC in March 2020 following an impressive 11–2 record as an amateur fighter. Since then she has taken on some of the most formidable opponents in UFC’s 115 pounds weight class including Angela Hill, Miranda Maverick and Karol Rosa. In each fight Cory showcased not only excellent striking skills but also great defensive skills which made it difficult for any opponent to gain advantage over her inside the octagon cage.

Outside of fighting, Cory dedicates time to coaching others both inside and outside of sport related activities such as teaching self-defense classes or running seminars on personal development and motivation for aspiring athletes across Europe.
