Kay Hansen, known as the ‘Gremlin’ in the MMA world, is a professional UFC fighter and member of Team LFO. She trains at high-level gyms including 10th Planet Van Nuys and Kings MMA.

Born in Torrance, California on August 12th 1999, Kay has been competing in martial arts since she was 8 years old. She started her combat sports journey with Brazilian jiu-jitsu and immediately fell in love with it. Later on she also incorporated wrestling into her arsenal which allowed her to become well rounded before making the transition to mixed martial arts (MMA).

When most people were attending college or starting their career post high school graduation, Kay made the bold decision to pursue a pro fighting career instead. At 19 years old she fought for KOTC under amateur rules where she went 5 – 0 and earned two titles before transitioning into professional MMA by signing an exclusive contract with Invicta FC—the leading all-female promotion in MMA—in 2019.

In February 2020 after only three professional fights under her belt Kay Hansen signed an exclusive multi fight deal with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), becoming one of the youngest athletes ever signed by the organization at 20 years old.. Despite being so young and inexperienced compared to other fighters Kay proved that age is just a number when it comes to success inside the cage after winning her first three fights within five months during 2020 & 2021 respectively; earning Performance of The Night bonus twice over against returning veteran Jinh Yu Frey & Cory McKenna along with Fight of The Night bonus once again against another talented up & coming prospect Ji Yeon Kim

With notable wins over experienced veterans such as LHW standout Ana Julaton back in 2018 & current top ranked contender Felicia Spencer back in 2019 plus many more |She holds an impressive 10 – 4 professionally record thus far| showing that hard work pays off no matter your age!

Not only is Kay Hansen good inside of cage but outside too; while pursuing education simultaneously alongside her training/fighting schedule due to which she attained Bachelor’s degree from California State University Long Beach majoring Sociology last year(2020). She uses this knowledge combined with a passion for health& fitness creating balanced lifestyle through nutrition advice , physical rehab exercises alongwith Strength& conditioning tips via social media platforms such as Instagram giving inspiration & motivation among fans worldwide who look up not just standing out inside octagon but rather how these warriors live their everyday lives .

In spite of having achieved so much already at early ages there’s still plenty room for growth; currently 2nd Dan blackbelt rank Kyokushin Karate holder aims even higher goals conquering lightweight division reaching UFC gold alongwith various awards; pushing herself beyond limits showing no boundaries can stop what you can achieve if you stay determined !
