Travis Fulgham is a dedicated and esteemed figure recognized for his formidable skill as a professional football wide receiver. Born on September 13, 1995, in the United States, Fulgham began his life in a lively, globetrotting atmosphere, surrounded by a family dedicated to Foreign Service. After spending much of his formative years traveling the world with his parents, the Fulgham family found its roots in Ashburn, Virginia. Here, Fulgham’s enthusiasm for football burgeoned, nurtured in the nurturing and rigorous environments of Massanutten Military Academy and later, Broad Run High School, where he fully committed himself to the sport for two years.

This period proved instrumental in shaping Fulgham’s athletic abilities and deep-rooting his interest in football. This enthusiasm led him to join the Monarchs at Old Dominion, where he redshirted his freshman season and walked on to the football program. His tremendous efforts and dedication bore fruit as he earned a scholarship by the end of fall camp during his first year.

Fulgham’s journey at Old Dominion marked the start of an illustrious career filled with consistent growth. In his senior year, he spearheaded Conference USA with prominent achievements, including 1,083 receiving yards and a 17.2 yards per catch rate. His commendable efforts earned him the second team All-Conference USA recognition. Fulgham finished his collegiate journey boasting impressive stats with 128 receptions for 2,044 yards and 18 receiving touchdowns, placing him seventh in the history of the school.

Upon concluding his redshirt senior season, Fulgham was extended an invite to the 2019 Senior Bowl, playing alongside Old Dominion’s linebacker Oshane Ximines. Fulgham’s performance in the Senior Bowl fortified his draft prospects. In the 2019 NFL draft, the Detroit Lions strategically picked him in the sixth round. Fulgham made his professional commitment to football official by signing a rookie contract with the Lions in May 2019.

Throughout his time with the Lions, Fulgham fluctuated between the practice squad and active roster. Despite the ups and downs, he made his much-anticipated NFL debut on December 15, 2019, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Unfortunately, however, Fulgham parted ways with the Lions in August 2020.

The sudden transition heralded a period of movement for Fulgham. He was picked up off waivers by the Green Bay Packers and subsequently wound up with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played a significant role during the 2020 season. Fulgham’s performance was remarkable for an Eagle during his first five games, with ten passes and 150 yards in a single game.

Despite his impressive performances, the Eagles decided to waive him in August 2021. After a stint with the Miami Dolphins and later the Denver Broncos, where he succeeded in making a mark in the team’s Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Fulgham was picked up by the Green Bay Packers. He was released soon after and ended up in the practice squad.

In 2024, Fulgham broadened his horizons by signing with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. Although he only managed to play and start in three games due to an abrupt release in week 4, he still managed to make a noteworthy contribution with six catches, 98 yards, and a touchdown.
