Jayden Reed, born on August 4, 1999, is an established National Football League (NFL) athlete. He grew up in Naperville, Illinois, showing an early passion and talent for football. Reed attended Naperville Central High School, where he was a standout athlete not only in football but also in track and field. In his debut season with the Spartans in 2020, Reed made an immediate impact. He led the team in receptions and was second in receiving yards. Moreover, he was lauded for his outstanding performances as a kick returner, ranking amongst the Big Ten’s best. Notably, Reed returned a 100-yard kickoff for a touchdown, becoming the first Spartan to achieve such a feat in five years.

Reed’s consistent performances at Michigan State drew the attention of NFL scouts. He declared for the NFL Draft after his junior year, determined to showcase his skills on a larger platform.
