Liam Eichenberg, born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 19, 1998, is an established American professional football guard currently signed with the esteemed Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). His journey into professional football has seen exceptional moments in his college days and has successfully translated into the NFL.

Eichenberg showed promising athleticism even in high school. He attended the reputed Saint Ignatius High School, where his talent was first identified. There, Eichenberg indulged his passion for football, developing his skills and character. This dedication culminated in him playing in the renowned 2016 Under Armour All-American Game, a showcase event for standout high school football athletes, witnessing a significant milestone in his young career. The year 2015 marked an important decision for Eichenberg when he committed to play college football at the University of Notre Dame, a decision that profoundly shaped his football journey.

Eichenberg’s time at Notre Dame helped mold him into a formidable athlete. After redshirting his first year in 2016, he managed to make a solid impact in just five games as a backup in 2017. He held onto his starting position, proving his consistency by starting every game for Notre Dame from 2018 until 2020. In the 2021 NFL draft, Eichenberg’s hard work paid off when the Miami Dolphins selected him in the second round with the 42nd pick overall, marking the start of his professional career in American football. Subsequently, he signed a four-year rookie contract with the Dolphins on July 27, 2021.

Entering the 2022 season, he had become the starting left guard for the Dolphins. However, his progress was temporarily halted when he was placed on injured reserve on November 1st due to an injury. Undeterred by the setback, Eichenberg showed resolve and dedication to his recovery process, managing to return active on December 27 the same year.

In Week 4 of the 2023 season, Eichenberg had his first professional career start as center, filling in for an injured Connor Williams. This position switch was a sign of his adaptability and commitment to his team.
