Joshua Kelley

Joshua Kelley is an American football running back born November 20, 1997, in Inglewood, California, and raised in Lancaster. He attended Eastside High School before beginning his college career at UC Davis. Kelley later transferred to UCLA, where he became a walk-on, earned a scholarship and established himself as a physical, productive runner. He received team MVP honors in each of his final two UCLA seasons and earned first-team All-Pac-12 recognition from The Associated Press in both years.

The Los Angeles Chargers selected Kelley in the fourth round, 112th overall, of the 2020 NFL Draft. Listed at 5 feet 11 inches and 212 pounds, he was viewed as a versatile, downhill back capable of running between the tackles while also contributing in outside-zone, inside-zone and power concepts. Kelley made his NFL debut with the Chargers and later spent part of the 2024 season with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans. Tennessee signed him to its practice squad on October 15, 2024, subsequently elevating him to the active roster and signing him to the active roster from the practice squad on November 2, 2024.

As of September 21, 2026, the NFL player page lists Kelley as an unrestricted free agent rather than assigning him to a current team. His documented professional career includes time with the Chargers, Giants and Titans, but a current club should not be stated without a later official signing or roster record.
