Brenden Jaimes Bio
Brenden Jaimes is an American football offensive lineman from Austin, Texas, born May 28, 1999. He attended the University of Nebraska, where he developed as a tackle and earned honorable-mention All-Big Ten recognition three times. Nebraska also named him its Offensive MVP in 2019, and he completed his college career with a program-record streak of consecutive starts by an offensive lineman. Jaimes earned his degree in criminology and criminal justice in 2020.
The Los Angeles Chargers selected Jaimes in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft with the 159th overall pick. Listed at 6-foot-5, he entered the league as a versatile offensive lineman. Although he played tackle at Nebraska, most of his professional work has come at center, with additional experience at guard and elsewhere along the offensive line.
