Jerald Christopher Jackson was born on November 17, 1995, in the wonderful city of Immokalee, Florida. His love and affinity for football can be traced back to his high school years in Immokalee High School, where he enjoyed stalwart success in the game. J.C Jackson, as he would later be known in his professional career, emerged as a reputable four-star football recruit from high school, showcasing strong promise with his exceptional skills. His extraordinary prowess in the sport led him to be ranked the 20th-best wide receiver in the 2014 class, according to 247Sports. Consequently, he committed to further his football career at the University of Florida.

His successful journey in football, however, witnessed its first hurdle at Florida. Jackson incurred a shoulder injury during the Gators’ opening game, which chalked out the rest of his season.
