Isaiah McKenzie Bio
Isaiah McKenzie is an American football wide receiver and return specialist born April 9, 1995, in Miami, Florida. He attended American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida, before playing college football at Georgia from 2014 through 2016. His combination of quickness, open-field movement and return ability made him a multipurpose offensive and special-teams player.
The Denver Broncos selected McKenzie in the fifth round with the 172nd overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. He later joined the Buffalo Bills in November 2018 and developed into a slot-receiver, returner and occasional rushing option. Buffalo used his speed on jet sweeps and other designed touches, while his ability to contribute in several roles helped him remain with the Bills through the 2022 season. He subsequently played for the Indianapolis Colts in 2023.
McKenzie signed with the New York Giants in March 2024, was placed on reserve/injured before the regular season and received an injury settlement on September 3, 2024. The Miami Dolphins then signed him to their practice squad on December 17, 2024. As of September 14, 2026, he is not listed on Miami’s current roster, and no later official signing establishes a current NFL team. His latest verified NFL role therefore remains his dated 2024 practice-squad affiliation with Miami.
