Dallas lists him on its active roster, and the Cowboys’ 2026 initial 53-man roster includes him among the team’s specialists. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall, attended California, and was born on October 6, 1988, in Camarillo, California.
The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Anger in the third round, 70th overall, of the 2012 NFL Draft. He spent his first four NFL seasons with Jacksonville, followed by three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and two with the Houston Texans. Dallas signed him in April 2021, and he has remained with the Cowboys since then.
