Brittain Brown

Brittain Brown is an American football running back for the Chicago Bears. As of September 20, 2026, the Bears list him on reserve/injured. Chicago signed Brown to a reserve/future contract on January 20, 2026, following earlier stints on the club’s active roster and practice squad. He previously spent time with the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad and began his NFL career with the Las Vegas Raiders, who selected him in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 250th overall pick.

Born October 10, 1997, in Canton, Georgia, Brown stands 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 205 pounds. He began his college career at Duke before transferring to UCLA, where he earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 recognition from the coaches and received the Kenneth S. Washington Award for Outstanding Senior in 2021. Brown’s college career also included a productive partnership with fellow UCLA running back Zach Charbonnet.

Brown has been described as a bigger running back with good vision, patience at the line of scrimmage, balance and an ability to use his blocks effectively. In the NFL, his early opportunities came primarily on special teams with the Raiders. With Chicago, he recorded his first NFL touchdown during the 2025 season before returning to the Bears’ reserve/future list in January 2026.
