Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on September 5, 1992, Brandon Allen is an innovative professional football player recognized for his brilliant displays as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) in the United States. Known for his lethal throws and extraordinary ability to control the tempo of the game, Allen’s playing technique and jaw-dropping agility have cemented his reputation as a key player on any team he graces.

Brandon Allen’s journey to professional football started in Fayetteville High School where his throwing ability became evident. Under the guidance of his father, Bobby Allen, the Arkansas Razorbacks’ assistant head coach, Brandon nurtured his talent and love for the game, embracing the rigors of training and always aiming to refine his skills. His exceptional performance in high school allowed him to pass for 3,408 yards, completing 38 touchdowns, which stamped his name within the annals of his school’s football history.

After his impressive high school career, Allen played collegiate football at the University of Arkansas, where he continued his illustrious career from 2011 to 2015. His college career consisted of several highlight performances, including an average of 65.2 completions in his senior season– the best season-long mark by a Razorback quarterback in the school’s history.

Brandon stepped into the professional league when he was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. However, his professional journey began on a rocky path as he was released in 2017 and consequently signed by the Los Angeles Rams. He made his first career start in November 2019 for the Denver Broncos against the Cleveland Browns due to an injury suffered by Joe Flacco. He certainly made this chance count when he led the Broncos to a 24-19 victory over Browns.

His stint with the Broncos, however, did not last long. After just three starts with the team, he found himself on the move again, this time joining the Cincinnati Bengals in 2020. Allen proved to be a reliable replacement for the injured Joe Burrow, as he came in clutch to help the team secure a 37-31 win against the Houston Texans with an impressive performance of 371 passing yards and two touchdowns.
