Ambry Thomas, born on September 9, 1999, is a noteworthy American professional football cornerback who presently plays for the well-known San Francisco 49ers, competing in the dynamic National Football League (NFL). Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Thomas kick-started his football career at his local high school before transitioning to the University of Michigan and subsequently joining the 49ers upon being chosen in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Thomas attended Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, demonstrating a growing prowess for football. Here, he toggled between two key roles—the wide receiver and cornerback. His talent did not go unnoticed as he received the opportunity to play in the prestigious 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
