Mike Conley

Mike Conley, Jr. is an American professional basketball player who has spent most of his career with the Memphis Grizzlies in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on October 11th, 1987 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Mike and Heather Conley Sr. and is currently 33 years old.

Conley attended Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis for three years before transferring to Westchester Country Day School for his senior year. After an impressive high school career that included being named Gatorade Player of the Year for Ohio Division III, Mike decided to declare for the NBA Draft after just one year of college ball at Ohio State University. He won a gold medal as part of Team USA’s U-18 team at the FIBA Americas U-18 Championship Tournament in 2005 and played two seasons with OSU before declaring himself eligible for the draft.

On June 28th, 2007, Conley was drafted 4th overall by Memphis Grizzlies where he would spend 12 seasons playing until 2019 when he was traded to Utah Jazz as part of a blockbuster deal involving four teams and twelve players. In Memphis he became one of their all time greats due to his consistency and leadership on and off court leading by example both vocally or through action during games as well asthe community initiatives conducted by him throughout his tenure there including founding The Mike Conley Foundation which focuses on youth mentorship programs throughout Tennessee .

In addition to this ,over his 13 season NBA career so far ,Conley has been selected 4 times All Defensive Second Team(2012-13; 2014-15; 2016) , 2 times All Star Selections (2015 & 2017), 3 times NBA Sportsmanship Award Winner (2011 -12 ; 2012 -13 ; 2015 -16 )and 1 time NABC Defensive Player Of The Year Awardee (2013) amongst others .He is currently playing alongside Donovan Mitchell , Rudy Gobert & Co as apartof ‘The Core Four’ group alongside former teammate Joe Ingles trying help Utah Jazz make it backto playoffs after missing out last season . His stellar play continues this season averaging 16 points per game alongwith 5 assists & 3 rebounds per game .
