Kyle Lowry

Kyle Lowry is a six-time All-Star and NBA champion point guard who plays for the Toronto Raptors. As one of the leaders on the team, he has been instrumental in helping to lead them to multiple playoff appearances and ultimately winning an NBA title in 2019.

Lowry was born on March 25th, 1986 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Growing up surrounded by basketball talent like Allen Iverson, Kyle idolized him and it helped shape his game as he worked his way up through high school and college basketball. After graduating from Cardinal Dougherty High School in 2004, Lowry enrolled at Villanova University where he played three seasons with the Wildcats before declaring for the 2006 NBA Draft. He was selected 24th overall by Memphis Grizzlies but had a slow start to his professional career because of injuries that limited him playing time during his first two seasons in Memphis.

In 2009–10 season Lowry blossomed after being traded to Houston Rockets which were coached by Rick Adelman at that time. Under Adelman’s tutelage Lowry flourished as an all-around player developing into a consistent scoring threat while averging 16 points per game over four years with Rockets before signing with Toronto Raptors prior 2015–16 season—where he continues playing until now..

Upon joining Raptors prior 2015/16 season Kyle immediately took leadership role within squad eventually becoming its leader both on court and off it helping young core around him grow while also leading by example on nightly basis: averaging 21 ppg 8 apg 5 rpg & 2 spg over last five seasons making multiple all star teams along way— 2020 edition being sixth consecutive nod for 6’0” guard outta Villanova university —while also lifting Larry O Brien trophy last year when Toronto won their first ever championship (2019).

During summer 2018 Kyle signed extension with Raptors keeping himself there until 2021 but if everything goes according plan should consider option of retiring as member of Toronto organization since aside from having great success here professionally speaking —both individually & collectively —it’s clear they love each other much same could be said about fan base & city itself nothing else could be better ending than having “Kyle Lowrys day” at Scotiabank arena someday soon …

Outside court life consists mostly around family—wife Ayahna Cornish Lowe (married 2011) have three sons Karter ,Kameron&Kylin .. Also loves golfing when available plus hosting few events throughout country aiming inspire youth thru sport or any means necessary . Overall despite adversity faced early stages pro career due largely thanks work ethic & God given talent achieved tremendous amount success thus far -being 1st head coach Dwane Casey puts it “No matter what level stage youre trying reach kyle lowry still hungry dog chasing bone “
